Paper-band filter separators are industrial filtration systems that separate solid particles with high accuracy from coolants (soluble oil), cutting oils, and wash water used in machining, metalworking, and forming processes.

Using disposable filter paper (filter cloth) as consumable media, these systems mechanically remove even very small particles without altering the chemical structure of the fluid.

The system can be designed in flat-bed, gravity, or deep-bed configurations according to different industrial operating requirements.

Contaminated coolant is fed into the system's inlet reservoir (or distribution manifold) by gravity or low pressure.

The fluid passes downward through special porous filter paper laid over the moving belt. As the fluid reaches the clean tank, metal chips, dust, and particles are retained on the paper. Over time, these accumulated particles form a secondary filtration layer (filter cake), further increasing filtration accuracy.

As the pores in the paper fill, fluid permeability decreases and the fluid level begins to rise. The level sensor activates the drive mechanism; the contaminated paper advances and drops into the waste bin while fresh filter paper is laid in its place.

Filtration of coolant used in glass and ceramic processing are among the principal applications.

By effectively capturing micron-level metal dust and particles, the system improves cutting-tool life and surface quality.

The level-controlled automatic paper-advance system enables uninterrupted 24/7 operation without the need for human intervention.

Smart sensor and mechanism designs keep filter-paper consumption to a minimum.

Because captured waste is removed automatically together with the paper, sediment buildup at the bottom of the tank is prevented and maintenance times are shortened.

It provides fully compatible operation with existing chip conveyors, magnetic separators, and central/standalone tank systems.

Paper-band filter separators are manufactured in different belt widths depending on system flow rate (L/min) and contaminant load. In addition, a magnetic separator can be added at the inlet to pre-capture ferromagnetic particles and improve system efficiency. Circulation pumps with suitable flow and pressure can be integrated into the system to return the treated fluid to the facility.
